Have a butchers at a food course today!

A little afraid of tackling meat, and more used to what comes in a pack from the supermarket, Lucy Ferguson attempts a butchery course at her local deli... London deli. Kennards, on Lambs Conduit Street in Holborn, recently advertised a butchery course. Seeing as my last attempt at boning a chicken thigh resulted in a cut finger, three wispy bits of raw chicken and a lot of waste, I decided to sign up. Standing for four hours beside a gigantic chiller cabinet was possibly not the best thing I could have done for my health in the middle of winter, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world...
