While the football fans are glued to the TV, treat yourself with this spicy Serbian meaty sausage, not unlike a thin burger, from the Hairy Bikers. To celebrate the World Cup, the chefs have teamed up with npower to create 32 recipes for each of the competing nations.

Serves 4

Ingredients
250g ground pork
500g lean ground beef
250g ground lamb
1 egg white
4 cloves garlic, minced
1tsp salt
1tsp baking powder
2tsp ground black pepper
1tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp paprika

Method
Preheat a grill on medium-low heat. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well using your hands and form into finger length sausages about 2.5cm thick.

Lightly oil the grilling surface. Grill sausages for approximately 30 minutes until cooked through, turning occasionally.
