I suspect here in the Uk you would need a large area of panels to generate a small amount of electricity to do what?
Raise the temperature of your water a few degrees in summer? I reckon to run a household you would need one hell of a lot of panels on a roof.
Winter is when you need to cut back on power to save money.
I cant see much electric being generated in our winter climate.
No one gives anything away, and certainly not big business.
I really am not convinced about 41.3p per KWt generated.
How long would it take to generate a Kilowatt of power with two sq metres of Panels?
cant seem to find the answer on that one, and it depends on the sunlight..
No definate answers.
I assume what we are told will be a load of untruths.
I have to conclude the only ones going to make any money are the companies selling them.
And of course the banks on the interest charges.
If Solar panels are so good, I think the government should make it law that all new houses are provided with them,
building them into a new structure will be cheaper than adding later I feel sure.

I suspect as people we have let this situation get like it is,
very few people seem to know how to manage their money nowadays, and just leave it to the banks until something goes wrong.
I suggest companies should pay employees with a cheque. whereas they can go to the bank to cash it, and take home the money and have it in hand.
Pay or put away for your bills, keep what you need for food etc. Then if there is anything left put it in an account at a building society where you can draw small amounts and it will make interest. (banks pay you no interest on your money but in many cases charge you for having it in)
Only going back thirty years, not many folks had bank accounts, they were for the richer folks, buisness folks etc.
The banks have taken over and now rule our lives.
We have direct debit which I hate.
That is another thing, we should as the general public should have nipped in the bud when they started it.
Apparently now you cannot get many services without it.
No one will soon be able to issue cheques because Banks are cancelling the service. (a much needed one i might add)
Many people now are encouraged to live beyond their means
thats why Bankers are getting so wealthy. We cannot control our spending, the banks have taken advantage of this.
People should start to take more control over their money.
spend only what they can afford.
I assure you the banks will all very soon be out of business if we withdrew our funds.
Trouble is so many people are now beholden to them.
They have us by the short and curlies.
and all we do is moan about it.
For Gods sake, about time people in this country got off their arses and told all these autoratative institutions their fortune.

Obviously this woman has never been over 50 or unemployed
and if she is or has, she obviously has more brass than sense.
or lives in a parallel world to other over 50s.

Changing suppliers does not work you get a sweetener which soon turns sour.
All we can do is switch off to save, and grin and bare it.
They (the energy companies have us by the balls) and there is nothing you or we can do.
The government is not interested, they say it is market forces.
We say it is highway robbery.
who is right?
The only way is for the ones that can do is to try to cut their consumption, and deny the companies the extra.
unfortunately those that cannot just have to pay up.

Like many comments on here, I also think my GP is already a Robot.
No facial expressions, sits in his chair typing away at a computer, says very little.
Then says, see you in three weeks.

I think she deserves a good telling off and a hefty fine for the cruelty.
But no, I do not think she should be hounded.
Perhaps by her experience she will have learned her lesson.
We all do daft stuff at times.
Look at all the binge drinkers and druggies what they are doing to each other but yet we tolerate it.

Put most of these singers in a theatre without a microphone stuck in their mouths and it would sound like a chorus of dying cats.
Of course they alter the sounds, by the time the song comes out the other end of the electrics it sounds nothing like the original voice.

I thought this site was about the Beckhams sacking staff? looks like a fight between beans, or who has and who has not.
Personally, I think they are both over paid for what they do.
And do people really need all those homes?
